Free AI visibility checker
See whether AI assistants can reach your site and understand it. We check your robots.txt against every major AI crawler, look for llms.txt and a sitemap, and read your homepage the way a crawler that doesn't run JavaScript does.
What this checker looks at
- Crawler access: whether robots.txt allows GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Googlebot, Bingbot and Applebot-Extended.
- Indexing: whether the homepage sends a noindex directive in its meta tags or headers.
- Discovery: whether you have an XML sitemap, whether robots.txt points to it, and whether there's an llms.txt.
- Content: how many words are in the HTML before any JavaScript runs.
- Understanding: title, meta description, a single H1, canonical URL and Organization or WebSite schema.
Why JavaScript-rendered sites often go unseen
Google renders JavaScript, but many AI crawlers fetch the raw HTML and move on. If your content only appears after scripts run, those crawlers see an almost empty page. The word count check shows you what they get.
What it doesn't do
This tool checks readiness. It doesn't ask ChatGPT or Perplexity about your brand, because a single answer is too random to mean much. Measuring real citations takes the same prompts asked repeatedly over weeks, which is what AutomatedSEO's citation tracking does.
