1. Definitions

• "AutomatedSEO", "we", "us" and "our" mean Safain Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales that operates automatedseo.app, together with its successors and assigns.
• "Account" means the account you create to access the Service.
• "Project" means a website you add to the Service, and the settings, voice profile and schedule attached to it.
• "Your Content" means anything you provide to the Service, including website URLs, brand and product information, instructions, uploaded files and edits you make.
• "Generated Content" means articles, outlines, images, metadata, internal links and other material the Service produces for your Projects.
• "Connected Account" means any third-party platform you authorise the Service to access, such as a CMS or Google Search Console.
• "Backlink Exchange" means the part of the Service through which participating websites place links to one another within content published through the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.

The Service is intended for business use. You must not use it if we have previously suspended or removed your Account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your Account. Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Tell us straight away at hello@automatedseo.app if you believe someone has accessed your Account without permission.

4. The Service

AutomatedSEO researches keywords and topics for your website, drafts articles using automated and AI-assisted tools, adds internal links, and can publish that content to your website on a schedule. It also tracks how your site performs in search and whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini reference it.

Features, limits and integrations vary by plan and may change over time. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we will try to give you reasonable notice before removing anything you rely on.

5. Connected sites and automatic publishing

When you connect a CMS (such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Framer or Notion), a webhook, or another Connected Account, you authorise us to access it and to create, update and publish content on your behalf, in line with the publishing mode, schedule and settings you choose for each Project.

• You can review, edit, approve or reject Generated Content before it is published if you choose a review-first publishing mode.
• If you turn on automatic publishing, content will go live without a manual approval step. Only enable it if you are comfortable with that.
• You can disconnect a Connected Account at any time from your dashboard. Disconnecting stops future publishing but does not remove content that has already been published to your site.
• You must have the right to connect each site and account you add, and you remain responsible for complying with the terms of those third-party platforms.

6. Your content and Generated Content

Ownership

You keep all rights in Your Content. Subject to your payment of any applicable fees and to these Terms, we assign to you any rights we hold in the Generated Content created for your Projects, and you may use it for any lawful purpose.

Licence to us

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt and transmit Your Content and Generated Content only as needed to operate, secure, support and improve the Service for you. This licence ends when the content is deleted from the Service, except for copies we are required to keep by law or that remain in routine backups for a limited period.

Similar output

Because the Service uses automated tools, other customers may receive Generated Content that is similar to yours, particularly on common topics. We do not guarantee that Generated Content is unique to you.

7. Your responsibility for published content

AI-generated text can contain mistakes, out-of-date information or statements that do not suit your business. You are responsible for all content published to your website, whether you reviewed it first or not. In particular, you are responsible for making sure that published content:

• is accurate, including any claims about your products, prices, results, health, finance or law;
• does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• complies with the laws that apply to you, including advertising and consumer protection rules; and
• complies with the guidelines of the search engines and platforms you publish to.

8. Backlink Exchange

The Backlink Exchange is an optional feature. When you opt a Project in, the Service places links to your website within content published on other participating websites, and places links to other participants' websites within content published on yours.

Eligibility

To join, and to stay in, the Backlink Exchange, each participating website must:

• belong to a customer with an active paid subscription in good standing;
• be publicly accessible, with its content indexable by search engines;
• publish original, useful content that is kept up to date;
• have a privacy policy and terms of service;
• receive genuine organic traffic;
• not contain malware, spam, hidden links or other deceptive practices, or be built mainly to sell links;
• not contain or promote adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs (including cannabis and CBD products), hate speech, violence or other illegal activity; and
• comply with the laws that apply to it.

We decide at our sole discretion whether to accept a website, and we may remove a website from the Backlink Exchange at any time if it stops meeting these requirements or its owner breaches these Terms.

Automatic placement

The Backlink Exchange runs on autopilot. Links are selected by relevance and published automatically, with no preview or approval step for individual links, both on your website and on other participants' websites. Only opt in if you are comfortable with that. By opting in, you authorise us to include links to other participants' websites in content published to your site, and you agree not to remove, alter or add rel="nofollow" to those links while you remain in the Backlink Exchange, except where the law or a platform's rules require it.

Leaving the Backlink Exchange

You can opt a Project out at any time from your dashboard, and a Project is removed automatically if your subscription ends. After you leave, we stop placing new links to or from your website. Links already published on other participants' sites may remain, and we may also remove or update them, so we cannot promise that any link will stay live.

Risk

Search engines set their own rules about links and can reduce the visibility of websites they believe use links to manipulate rankings. We work to keep the Backlink Exchange relevant, moderate in volume and aligned with widely accepted best practice, but we cannot eliminate that risk. We do not control other participants' websites, and we do not guarantee their quality, reputation or continued compliance, or that any link will improve your rankings, traffic or citations. By opting in, you accept these risks.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• create or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or illegal activity;
• add websites you do not own or have permission to manage;
• generate spam, doorway pages, or content intended to manipulate search engines in breach of their published policies;
• impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with them;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to access accounts, systems or data without authorisation;
• scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product; or
• access the Service by automated means other than through interfaces we expressly provide.

We may remove or refuse to publish content, or restrict a Project, if we reasonably believe it breaches this section.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and the AutomatedSEO name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

11. Trials, subscriptions and payment

Free trial

New customers can try the Service free for 3 days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and the payment method you provided is charged for the plan you selected. Trials are limited to one per customer.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed per website, monthly or annually, in advance. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Prices are shown on our pricing page and exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

Payment processing and price changes

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors, and your use of them is subject to their terms. We may change our prices; any change will apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you in advance. If a payment fails, we may pause publishing or suspend your Account until it is resolved.

12. Refunds

The free trial exists so you can judge the quality of the Service before you pay. Because every article we produce carries real costs for research, AI processing and third-party services, payments are non-refundable once the trial has ended, except where the law requires otherwise.

If something is genuinely wrong, for example a bug that stops the Service working or a feature that does not work as described, email hello@automatedseo.app within 14 days of the charge. We will ask you to show us the problem, try to fix it, and where we cannot, consider a full or partial refund at our discretion.

13. Free GEO audit

Our free GEO audit checks whether AI assistants mention a website for a set of prompts. Results are generated by querying third-party AI services, can vary between runs, and are provided for information only. You should only audit websites you own or are entitled to analyse.

14. Affiliate programme

If you join our affiliate programme, the commission, cookie window and payout terms we give you when you are accepted apply in addition to these Terms. Affiliates must promote the Service honestly and must not:

• bid on "AutomatedSEO", our domain, or any variation or misspelling of them in paid search or social advertising, or use them in ad copy or display URLs;
• link directly from paid ads to our website;
• use spam, misleading claims, or coupon and cashback sites we have not approved; or
• refer themselves or their own accounts.

We may withhold commission earned in breach of these rules and remove any affiliate from the programme at any time.

15. Third-party services

The Service relies on and links to third-party services and websites, including other participants' websites in the Backlink Exchange, CMS platforms, Google Search Console, AI model providers and payment processors. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, content, or changes to their policies or interfaces that affect the Service.

16. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your Account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we end the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your subscription.

When your Account ends, your right to use the Service ends too. Sections on content ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy. Search engines and AI assistants decide for themselves what to rank and cite, and they change their systems often. We therefore do not guarantee that:

• the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free;
• Generated Content will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purposes;
• any website in the Backlink Exchange, or any link placed through it, will be safe, compliant or beneficial;
• your website will gain rankings, traffic, citations, leads or revenue; or
• search engine or AI assistant behaviour will stay the same.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutomatedSEO will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or search visibility, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, even if we have been told such loss was possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

19. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless AutomatedSEO and its officers, employees and contractors from any claims, losses, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, content published to your website through the Service, your breach of these Terms or of any law, your use of Connected Accounts, or your participation in the Backlink Exchange, including any search engine penalty or loss of visibility.

20. Governing law and disputes

If you have a dispute with us, please email hello@automatedseo.app first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved informally. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. For material changes we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

22. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
